Aw, I can smell it... frozen nostril snot!!
Hmmmm, what a lovely thought, Melinda. I most definitely appreciated that. (Do you sense the sarcasm?) This is definitely not home to me. I hated growing up there. Terrible memories. Sorry! I never felt like I belonged and have no desire to go back. The mountains are gorgeous, but I've already told my family I'm done with their crap (in much kinder words) and we're not going to come for Christmas or any other holiday until they can treat us with respect.
I like it :)
Shellie, I'm terribly sorry to hear that! Looking at this picture, while freezing my nostrils (thanks Melinda, sooo true), warms my heart. Two dear friends own these business, and I was fortunate enough to have one of the most loving mothers on the planet. This picture makes me warm, and I'm so sorry that you don't feel the same. I do hope you have a place that does feel like home to you, where you feel loved and appreciated for the wonderful person you are.
