Wordless Wednesday - the view

Some days I wish I could hold my babies all day long and never go to work. Then I walk in my office to this view and it's like God is courting me, reminding me that He loves me, every minute of my life. Promises and goodness await me.

Wordless Wednesday - The Little Red Truck

This is MCT week, one of my favorite weeks of the year (read this if you don't already know why) and both of my girls are in the MCT production of The Secret Garden this year.  For Wordless Wednesday this week I wanted to [not entirely wordlessly] compare my annual little red truck photos over the past three years.  Performances are on Saturday and Lily is a Firefly while Addie is part of the Secret Garden.
2012 -  a Firefly and the Secret Garden in The Secret Garden

2011 - a Bat in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

2011 - a Bat in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

2010 - a Lobster in Alice in Wonderland
And this year we got extra lucky because the little red truck even stayed at our house!  So much fun!

Wordless Wednesday - Look alikes

You all know how much I love to compare kiddos!  Yes, with each other, but with also with other kids I love.

So imagine how pleased I was when we were at the playground on Sunday and my mother in law showed me a picture of my nephew in a red shirt, playing on a playground in NJ.  Bryson was, at that moment, playing on the playground, in a red shirt.  You know I jumped on it.  The two Herman boy cousins?  Um, yeah!

They are separated by 4 years and 3000 miles, but you'd never know it looking at this picture.  If you are on my FB, you've already seen it.  But I love it!

(not so) Wordless Wednesday - First and Last days of preschool

There is so much fanfare regarding school being out, and isn't it amazing that not.one.parent.I.know. can believe how old their kids are?  Present company included.  We sit around focusing and dwelling on these little people 99.5% of our lives and then we cannot believe it when they get older.   Weeks go slow but years go so fast.  Just how it works, I guess.

Addie had two wonderful years at GCS, and here are her before and after photos to prove it. :)

Oh how my little peanut almond (she's still allergic to peanuts) has grown up.  And then not that much too.  I put her in the same shirt to end the 4s year that Lily wore on her first day of PreK, just for fun.  :)  Lily is the exact age on her first day of PreK that Addie was on her last day of PreK.  If you click here you will also see me at that same age.  Fun! You know I get no greater joy than comparisons!

Kind of wordy for a Wordless Wednesday, but you know that's how I roll! :)

Wordless Wednesday - FAST

Lily is the only girl on her co-ed baseball team.  She is also the fastest player on the team by a long shot. And we have a few very athletic boys on our team.  That doesn't make her dad super proud or anything. :)
Look at her go!

They change positions every time out, but catcher is her favorite

Bryson is starting to have a life outside of the stroller at these sporting events

The auditors are here, for the whole month of May, no working at home days.   But...I AM living, just not blogging.  Until further notice, my blog shall be named.  "Wordless"!
